“Oh, the horror of it!” cried the King. “I shall never, never forget it!” “You will though,” said the Queen, “unless you make a memorandum of it.” ~ Through the Looking Glass.  Yes, those who ignore history are certainly doomed to repeat it.

I have said it, and I will say it again: “The qualifications for being a politician are simple: be a psychopathic narcissist and have access to a lot of money.” Today, it is more obvious than ever that putting politicians in charge of anything is like, as Nikita Krushchev so aptly said, “Sending the pigs to mind the turnips.”

Politicians tell us comforting and obvious lies that we tell ourselves and each other over and over until we forget that they are only lies. And when one considers the functionally illiterate, lazy, dumbed down and drugged voters they appeal to, apart from the mass of low intelligence, illegal immigrants and Muslim “refugees” they import as fast as possible to boost the number of people voting for them, one understands how this works.

G.K. Chesterton wrote, “It’s not that they can’t see the solution… They can’t see the problem.” And so they vote for bottom feeders like Trudeau, Obama, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and the others. So what can the average man and woman do? We can complain that, in Vancouver for example, if you are a black, Muslim, transvestite, criminal, homeless drug addict in Vancouver, you have infinitely more rights than a white, law abiding, Christian man who works hard, pays his taxes, and helps the poor. Unless you’re very rich, or a politician or a professional hockey player, that is.

The few that understand what is going on and realize that we had better do something fast before it all implodes and our money depreciates by two thirds overnight or is replaced with a new, devalued currency while our “refugee” neighbours are breaking down our doors demanding food are preparing. We’re the ants, while the grasshoppers smoke more dope, eat more, attend “Gay Pride” parades, and watch the mindless “America Has Talent” television shows. We can’t stop that fast flowing river of destruction, but we can be well prepared.

You need six things in place in order to cope with the destruction that is inevitable as a result of the politicians running the world today: God, Guts, Groceries, Gold, Guns, and your very own Galt’s Gulch. If being a “prepper” means being prepared, I’m all for it. Especially if, like me, you’re a senior citizen. Have a good supply of your medication, and create or find a group of strong, supportive friends and allies who share your views and your values, who take personal responsibility for their lives, and who serve God. That’s your Galt’s Gulch.

If you still haven’t read George Orwell’s “1984” and Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged,” do yourself a favour and start reading so that you can better understand why and how the world is slouching toward Gemorrah and sinking into the quicksands of depravity and perversion under the leadership of the rich mens’ meat puppets, Obama and Trudeau.
